I bought this laptop with 4gb RAM, amd phenom dual core processor and a 500 gb hard drive. i thought this thing would be a beast of a machine. well after more than a year of use (bought in sept. 2010) this thing is more of a pile of crap than a beast. the edges are misaligned, it gets dirty easily. I got the blue screen of death even though i take great care of it, im having hdd and fan problems. im seriously going to buy a mac and leave hp forever. screw you hp.

HP sucks
its a SHIT laptop, at the start it works great, but after a while, when you are just running an application it gets overheated and starts to go extremely slow. I can’t even use webcam on msn, it will get overheated. SHIT SHIT SHIT laptop for that amount of money. FUCK HP

This is not real. No touch-enabled screen on any Hp Laptops yet. Only found in AIO (many brands) or Dell XPS laptops.

Here in Brazil we have DV6-3090BR as equivalent and some units come to market defective. From the 6Gb installed, only 3.74 GB are available, and HP has a service poorly.

I own the pavilion dv6 3230, the computer it self works great, the bigggggggggg
issue is the touchpad, the whole touchpad feels loose when I try to do clicks the whole touchpad goes down for about 1/8th of an inch so you really have to press hard on this touchpad, I thought that the touchpad was damaged and I called the hp support and they told me to send it back to them,my biggest surprise was when they called me back and told me that there was nothing wrong with the computer.
sick laptop got it for $900 for the 3132tx model , plays COD MW2 on high – extra settings … no probs yet

@ecurrans i have it, the speakers are amazing, you can really hear the bass! The aluminum finish is amazing. Though, when you put it down on your bed, the area near the fan is very hot, i burned myself on it before. It is very fast, and has 2 processor speeds, to save your battery life. On the bottom is a battery meter, so you know how much battery you have before you even turn it on, the webcam is amazing! Ive had it for over a month and there is not on escratch on it! Its a great laaptop!!!
@roei105 because you mustve bought the lowest end model. Mine says my keyboard is backlit and i have touchscreen… well, i dont. i didnt pay for them. you got the lowest end model, thats why, your lucky you got a webcam!
i bought this laptop in store cuz it was on sale but on the papre in the box of the laptpt its wrote it got touchscreen and the finger thing so dont understand y i dont have this!!!!!!
