alright so first i’m gonna start you off by letting you know why people say pcs are better than apple. The reason is not the quality of both companies but due to the fact that pcs make alot more better games than apple does. for example all the apple games suck and you cant really run pc games on mac unless you installed windows on a mac which is pointless and a waste of money when you can just buy a pc with windows already on it since most games only support windows not mac. like call of duty and most new games that are gonna come out will probably only support windows first.Then MAYBE itll come out for mac(which is rare) so yeah pcs have so many more opportunities than a mac do so stick with pcs.
Now to get you your gaming laptop. First of all whats your budget? second of all this is the recommended things you want for a laptop if your on a budget: An intel core 2 duo processor with 2.0ghz or greater(i recommend way greater like 2.6 to 3.0 because the more ghz you have the better) 4 gigs of ram MINIMUM(the more the better!) and now we go to the “video card” aka graphics card. well to put it short i recommend you have at least a second class video card starting from the top half of the second class video cards or better from this site:

I highly recommend this website mainly because it compares ALL video cards for laptops so if you see a good laptop but you dont know how good the video card is, look the video card up on here. theyll even tell you what games you can play with your video card and how high you can turn up the graphics such as low, medium, or high on the game. Also do NOT get a 3rd class or lower class such as 4th class or 5th because that’ll screw up your gaming big time. you can only play really old games like 6 years back on 3rd class video cards and you cant play games at all on 4th class, 5th class, or below! So the top of the list of the video cards in class 1 is the best and the more you go down the list obviously the less powerful video cards you’ll be looking into. If you can get your hands on ANY of the 1st class graphics cards, you’ll destroy the competition at FAST speeds of all current games at decent graphic settings. 2nd class is still good but like i said only the top half of it it good starting from the Nvidia 9600m GT and up and maybe a little below that if your not playing too demanding games. So i think this is sufficient information. Also make sure your laptop has a good inch screen like 15-17 inches with good display, decent battery if needed like 6 cell battery would be lowest which is good for 3 hours without charger and 12 cell highest which is good for like 6-8 hours without charger. Also make sure you like the design and that its not too heavy or thick. Alright so if you get back on me with your budget i might be able to find you a good laptop within your price range. Oh and i almost forgot, the best brand would probably be asus since most other laptops use their parts and asus has pretty nice designs. hp is also known for being not too costly but also not “the best laptops”. Good when your really low on cash but i’d stick with asus. Dells not so good in quality ive heard. so yeah.
