Depends upon your personal needs! Anyways, Dell is better than HP! So leave out HP!
If you are going to play games, go for the 2nd one! It has a better graphics card: ATI mRadeon HD 5650 and more RAM (8 GB)! The processor is also very good (i5 with good clock speed)! You don’t need a better processor to play games!
If you are going to work (needing high processing requirements like photo editing, movie making, programming or similar things) buy the 1st one! It has a better processor and the other specs are good enough too!
But if you are going to do light work (for school or office) go with the 2nd one! Firstly because you don’t need an i7 for light work (its too high end and with i5 you are getting much more than you need) and secondly since the OS you are getting is a 64bit version, more the amount of RAM, the better it is!
