What ip address will your laptop register if you are in a foreign country?
If you buy a laptop in the US, then take it to Korea, how will it register on a visitor’s map like say, Maps Loco? Will you appear from the US or from Korea? Many thanks in advance, as you can see I don’t know much about computers…
IP Addresses are not determined by the laptop. You might be talking about something else which is hardware predetermined. But they supposed to have disabled that because of the negative reaction of people with regards to their privacy.
IP Address are determined by the network where the laptop is connected. Its either statistically assigned by the network administrator or it is dynamically allocated. But if your a user who wants to surf or use the internet. This is usually dynamically given ip.
