What is the best, or Acer Aspire One ASUS Eee PC 900?
I am looking for two different laptops to buy an Acer Aspire One / 8.9 "(New) Walmart or Asus Eee PC 900 / 8.9" (restored) from a local computer store on the way to me. Both have the same price and both run XP Home. What is the best laptop to buy?
I would say: Acer Aspire ONE Because Wal-Mart sells high-quality material in the computer section. Here is a review of it: The Acer Aspire One is better than most netbooks. It's great for anyone who wants a small machine prices lower in the type and surf the Web. However, the battery life lets it down a bit. # Good: Large keyboard • Easy to use OS • Price • Two slots for SD # Bad: Small, oddly designed mouse trackpad battery performance • The life of the poor is the Acer Aspire One feels Quick everyday use. It takes about 17 seconds to start the operating system – 3 seconds quicker than an EeePC 901 – and 10 seconds to launch common applications such as OpenOffice or Firefox. The Linpus interface is also a pleasure to use, faster and more responsive than the Linux distributions on most opponents of the Unit. Battery life was not very impressive, however. As mentioned, it comes with a three-cell, 2200mAh standard battery, which lasted less than 2 hours when playing a DivX movie. Far from the Eee PC 901 is 4.5 hours number. Those who want a better battery life can purchase a cell phone six years, 4800mAh battery, when it comes out later this year and, finally, the XP model is expected to migrate to the cell six by default. Acer offers a courier service year repair / return, although this may be extended to a three-year warranty for an extra AU $ 100. Conclusion In some respects, the Acer Aspire One is better than EeePC 901. Keyboard has a superior performance, solid and very portable. The EeePC 901 still has the edge in terms of battery life and mouse so it's a close call between the two machines.
