Laptop or Netbook for upto £500?
I have up to £500 (Maybe £600) for a laptop or netbook, but cannot decide what to get!
I love the netbook’s portability and battery life but would also like to be able to do some photoshop and dreamweaver on it to! Does anyone have a CS package running ok on a netbook? I have a base PC that’s my work machine, but would like to do some editing on the beach or side of a mountain.

ANY HELP??? (And don’t say…. Oh get a Mac, because i don’t have over £800)
Important things for you to consider are how important battery life is to you, how big of a screen do you want, and what type of operating system you plan to use.
If you really want long battery life, I would recommend getting a smaller sized laptop or a netbook. I’m not sure how big of a screen you are looking for, but the Acer Aspire One has great battery life and also a 10.1″ display.
It has enough power to do all of the “light” things that you had listed, although a more powerful laptop will run Photoshop and Dreamweaver more quickly. It has the necessities of built in Wi-Fi, built in webcam, Windows XP instead of Vista and so on. It also has a pretty affordable price.
