Help choosing a laptop?!?
Okay, so my parents said its time I can get a laptop instead of using the family computer. I need help, I know NOTHING about computers/laptops. I know that I DO NOT want a Net Book. And no Macs for me either, too expensive! And for me this laptop needs to have a built-in webcam/microphone. I want to get this laptop from Best Buy or Walmart or Target or wherever! I have a couple of questions. Can you put these brands of laptops in order from highest quality to worst? Here are the brands: HP, Asus, Acer, Dell, Toshiba. And, I need the laptop for light gaming and just everyday use. I want the size of the screen to be 14″-17″. Thanks! If you can, what laptop would you recommend, if you have a laptop and it fits in this category?
There are lots of different choices when it comes to choosing a laptop, so you need to search by what you need from the laptop. Everyday use of a laptop ( internet browsing, typing documents etc ) would not require a strong laptop, however, any form of gaming will draw a lot more from it. You will also need to consider your budget, and how much you are willing/can spend on your purchase, as this will be a limiting factor in your choices. As for brands, the ones that you listed are all respected brands and will most likely be on par with each other for the most part.
In choosing a laptop, some things, in addition to the requirements that you listed, that I would recommend:
-At least a dual core processor that is 1.5GHz or higher. This will help it run things faster.
-At least 1.5GB of RAM, preferably 2GB – for your light gaming.
-A integrated graphics card. Although a dedicated one will run much better, it is also much more expensive.

It took me a new laptop, the shop owner gives me around 30 days if necessary. Should I keep or return it for a new one. I'm not really a gambler, happy medium. Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard rating: 4.2 stars / 5 stars Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) CPU i3. 330@2.13GHz M 2.13 GHz RAM: 4 GB (3.80 usable) type: 64 – bit operating system. Should I return this phone? or keep it and more memory RAM later. Please reply. Thanks. TA-Oh, and .. 500 GB hard drive. Operated on a forgotten Windows 7. CHILD ~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PORTABLE SAW MAKES me the same price I, everything exactly the same but its DUAL heart. EXCEPT their elders. My parents said it was too big. WHAT SHOULD I MAKE?
