I’m drinking flavored coffee, flavored water, skim milk, and eating Nutrisystem muffins and fruit for breakfast while watching Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and working on the PROMOTE GA website that my team of students are to have completed during this week.

I bought this lap desk at Target for about . At first, I was really skeptical about how well it would work and I just bought it because it was the only laptop desk I’ve ever come across.
Turns out I LOVE it. It doesn’t slip or slide on your lap and holds the laptop firmly in place. (It’s also good for eating dinner on in front of the TV!)
I want to go back and buy a couple more. They’re great to have around!
good batteries life has not been a priority with notebook manufacturers
But with many products, the screen consumes most of the power, and three-quarters of that goes into the backlight. Notebook manufacturers can improve hp laptop battery life and make the screen look better by tuning the display controls so that the inverters produce a clean sine wave: that gives you just as much brightness for far less power. The next stage is to get the screen to use less power in general: only 4% of the light produced actually makes it to the screen, so developing new materials that let more of the light through would be more efficient.
Ministers “don’t have a closed mind” on giving UK businesses exemption from anti-spamming laws, according to Mike O’Brien, the new e-commerce minister.

Casey rattles it into the hole, so he remains only one down. Hopefully that will settle him. I must say I fancy him to avoid defeat in this match, though they could be famous last words. Apologies if they are.
Delayed rivals Half Life 2, Doom 3 and the latest Grand Theft Auto may give Halo 2 a run for its money in the all-important Christmas market, but they’re going to have to put on something of a show if they’re going to outbox Microsoft’s latest. The sequel to the best-selling original amassed sales of more than $125m in its first few days as Microsoft cashed in on a tsunami of pre-launch hype. Master Chief may still be all that stands between the baddies and the destruction of the world, but this time, gamers say, the action is more realistic, the detail sharper and the game/movie hybrid more immersive than anything before. Add in some of the highest production values yet seen on a game and it’s not hard to see why so many fans were prepared to get up in the middle of the night to grab a copy. The only downside is it is X-Box only, so PC gamers will have to play something else.
According to Intel, good laptop batteries life has not been a priority with notebook manufacturers because buyers used to complain about it after they had bought a machine, rather than saying it was important while they were still shopping. As usual, technology follows the money.
Microsoft says it will make Windows XP Starter Edition, a cheap but heavily restricted version of Windows, available in Russia next year as part of a year-long pilot programme. Russia will be the fourth country to get this version, after Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, with one more to come. These versions are heavily localised with country-specific flags, images and hp laptop batteries screensavers, plus video help in local languages. Microsoft says the Starter Edition is aimed at first-time users, but most people see it as a response to widespread piracy in areas where Windows is much too expensive to be affordable, and where governments might well support Linux instead.
